Nothing… will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ our Lord: ROMANS 8:39
On January 15, 2022, August Ray Patrick passed peacefully with his wife and step daughter by his side after a courageous battle with an unexpected illness in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
August was born on November 5, 1964, in Denver, Colorado to his parents Rutherford Ray Patrick & Marilyn Mae (Scibbe) Patrick. August chose many paths over his lifetime, but they all had two things in common: a passion of always refining his skills in the electric profession and always helping others. One of his earlier work career paths was serving his country in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Electrical Systems Specialist where he served honorably for four years. Upon completion of his military service, he continued to hone his craft in the electrical field. In 2004 he joined Schneider Electric where he climbed the ranks to be a Field Service Manager and also recently embraced a journey of being a Realtor and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work alongside his wife at Team Amanda & Co and Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage.
Though August had many adventures and had many passions in life, his one true passion was his family. August was blessed to meet and have a full & adventurous life with his wife of eight years, Amanda (VonFintel) Patrick of Harrisville, Michigan. August was big-hearted, particular, intellectual, and an energetic personality that his friends and family valued and loved! He enjoyed solitude and a time to reflect, read, learn and grow. He was a lifelong learner and was always searching for ways to improve his own life as well as others. The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to August. He also loved spending time in the kitchen and was a fabulous cook as well as a grill master. Preparing a true culinary experience was one of his ways he showed everyone he cared about them.
He is also survived by three children: Amanda Patrick, Russel Patrick & Madalyn Stewart, former wife: Molly Patrick, along with siblings: Alice Rand, Audrie Hanshaw, Nancie Taube, Woodford Patrick, Patti Duncan, Oliver Patrick, Mark Patrick and Victoria Petersen.
August was also preceded in death by his parents and Max and Penelope his Miniature Pinschers.
August will forever be remembered by all whose lives he’s touched.
