Audrey May Bruner

Audrey May Cross Bruner was born January 26, 1936, in Flint, Michigan, and died August 24, 2023.  She was here; She did it; She’s gone.  She loved God, her family, and her church family.  She was preceded in death by her much loved husband, James Alfred Bruner, Sr., her parents, Raymond Bartholmew and Dorothy May Cross, her brother, Ralph Donald Cross, her sister, Doris Ellen Cross Mays, her niece, Pamela Ann Cross Love, her nephew, Kirk Daniel Mays, her nephew-in-law Charles Touron, her great nephew, Eric Pickett, her great niece, Emily Love, and her great nieces, Ellie Mays and Jaclyn Touron.
She is succeeded by six nieces and nephews and by their children and grandchildren: Angela Lynn Cross and Mike Pickett, Susan Jo Mays and Rodney Smith, Jefferey Donald and Pam Cross, Mark Timothy and Cindy Mays, Janet Leigh Cross and Craig Rush, Debby Mays (Kirk Daniel Mays), and Julie Ellen Mays. She is also succeeded by her stepson and daughter-in-law, James Alfred and Patricia Peters Bruner, her stepdaughter and son-in-law, Blenda Jo Bruner and Rex Bewley, two granddaughters, Diane Michelle Bruner and Jarrett Volzer, and Cassie Johanna Bewley and Ryan Ehrenberg, two great grandchildren, Justin Volzer and April Volzer, and great-great grandsons, Luke and Callan Volzer.
A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church.
