Andrew Pylypyshyn

Andrew Pylypyshyn, 89, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on November 29, 2021.

He was born to parents Semeon Pylypyshyn and Alexandra Smereczniak Pylypyshyn on January 18, 1932 in Newark NJ.

Andrew served in the US Army as a Small Arms Repair Technician (1952-1954) in Fort Gordon, Georgia.  

He worked as a Set-up man for GM-New Departure Hyatt in Clark, NJ for 36 years. He retired in 1987.

He was married to Alice Grohowski Pylypyshyn. Together they raised 2 children, Steven and Theresa in Kendall Park, NJ.

Andrew is survived by his brother Stephen Phillips, sister Alice Murphy, son Steven and Lanora Pylypyshyn, daughter Theresa and Robert LaBelle and grandchildren Shayna DeLeo, Heather Gregan, Zachary Flowers, Savannah Peterson, Samantha and Roger Salaz.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Suzan Gregan and son David Peterson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Socastee Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 1:00pm.
