Obituary

Amy Lee White, a loving mother and devoted stepmother to Alexandria, Victoria, Steven & wife Kelly, and Elizabeth, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 27, entering both the arms of Jesus and what her family fondly calls “dog heaven.” Amy was a passionate animal lover and proud mom to 11 dogs and one cat.

She was the beloved wife of Dr. Steven K. White Sr., with whom she shared over 20 years of love, laughter, and a beautiful marriage.

Amy had a deep love for travel and adventure. She explored the world with joy and wonder, visiting destinations such as the Galapagos Islands, Sicily, Ecuador, London, Russia, Cabo, Iceland, Finland, and Italy. She adored Mickey Mouse and all things Disney, and her playful spirit was matched by her impeccable style—she was a true “material girl” with a collection of designer purses that reflected her bold and fun-loving personality.

Amy’s friendships stretched across the country; she had too many dear friends to count. Just last year, she hiked a glacier in Iceland and snorkeled with sea lions in the Galapagos Islands—creatures she had a special connection with, as they seemed to be drawn to her like old friends.

She was one of the funniest, most vibrant people you could ever meet. Amy brought laughter, light, and joy wherever she went. She lived without barriers and loved without limits.

Amy is lovingly remembered by her father, Doug Case, her mother, Joan Wigginton, her sister, Carrie Case, and her beloved nieces and nephews, who brought her so much joy.

Amy was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Jim and Gwen Wigginton; and paternal grandmother, Mary Case.

Amy’s vibrant spirit, contagious laughter, and boundless love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her life was a beautiful adventure, and her memory will be cherished always.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 2, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM prior to her service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
