Amnon Shulman, son of Yuval and Dolores Shulman (née Baker), age 63, was born on May 30, 1962, in Hadera, Israel. He passed away on January 7, 2026, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, after a long struggle with metastatic stage IV bladder cancer.
Amnon grew up in Israel, where his roots and identity were formed as a proud Israeli Jew who served in the Israel Defense Forces. In his early years, he trained horses and picked strawberries—experiences that reflected both his love of the land and his strong work ethic. He married his wife, Orna Shulman (née Cohen), and together they had two children before moving to the United States in pursuit of opportunity and a new adventure. In America, they built their adult lives, expanded their family from four to eight, and raised their children in Myrtle Beach.
Over many years in the beachwear industry, Amnon worked his way up from an entry-level role into a position of leadership. He took pride in leading others and in the responsibility that role carried.
Amnon was known for his stubbornness—a defining trait that those who knew him recognized well.
He is survived by his mother, Dolores Shulman; his children, Natalie Shulman, Kareen Hamilton, Roi Shulman, Chanel Shulman, Danielle Tiger, and Ariel Shulman; his four grandchildren; and his brothers, Oded Shulman and Amir Shulman.
May his memory be a blessing.
