Alicia (Ali) Shannon Holloway Baker, 52, of North Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully at Grand Strand Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with renal disease. Ali was born in Fairfax, Virginia to J. Robert and Brenda Holloway, and was raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia, along with her brother. Ali was a friend to all, enjoyed the beach and time with her beloved yorkies. Ali is survived by her parents, husband, Rick Baker, her three step-children, Austin Baker (Emily), Evan Baker (Candice) and Matthew Baker. Also, "Gigi" to her two beloved grand-children, Liam and Paisley and her brother, J. Michael Holloway (Karen) and her niece, Devon. She was preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Ali was a 1992 graduate of Courtland High School (Virginia) where she excelled in both field hockey and the cheer squad, also attending Longwood University and Virginia Tech. The hospitality industry was her calling as her personality and smile brought joy to many. The list of friends is endless, and she will be missed by all.
All memorial services and celebration of life will be private to the family.
