Alexandria Pylypyshyn, 81, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on November 5, 2024.
She was born to parents Joseph Grohowski and Elizabeth M. Paddock Grohowski on November 17,1942 in Wilkes Barre, PA.
During the years Alexandria, who went by “Alice” worked a variety of executive assistant jobs in the Central NJ area. She retired from Princeton University Graduate School.
Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting and country line dancing. She was a member of the Socastee Baptist Church.
She was widowed to Andrew Pylypyshyn, they raised 2 children, Steven and Theresa in Kendall Park, NJ. She had moved with her husband to Myrtle Beach in 2009 to retire and enjoy their remaining years together near family. She got to spend her last years with her great grandchildren which brought a smile to her face.
Alice is survived by her sister Victoria Gapinski, in FL, son Steven and Lanora Pylypyshyn, in SC, daughter Theresa and Robert LaBelle, in PA, grandchildren Shayna DeLeo, Heather Gregan, Zachary Flowers, Savannah Peterson, Samantha and Roger Salaz and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph “Buddy” Grohowski.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Alice is now at peace and will be greatly missed.
