Jane Boone Havens


Jane Boone Havens, 75, passed away October 10th, 2017, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 6, 1942 to the late John W. Boone and Terecia Wingate Boone in Charleston, SC. She was married to the late H. Norris Havens, Jr, who enjoyed 44 wonderful years of marriage with her until his death in 2006.

She is survived by her two daughters Elizabeth H. Lane and her husband William Lane of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jennifer H. Flood and her husband Paul Flood of Myrtle Beach, SC, and four grandchildren: Alison Lane, Connor Flood, Sean Flood, and Collin Flood.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church at North Kings Hwy. and 37th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach, SC on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:30am.

Rite of Committal will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Old St. Andrews Episcopal Churchyard on Hwy 61 in Charleston, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or Old St. Andrews Parish Church, 2004 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29414.

Jane will be missed by many! She was so lucky to have such amazing daughters and family.
I had the pleasure of being one of her doctors for several years and I always enjoyed her visits! We had some great conversations- I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
