Smitty and I attended the Baptist College together back in the 1970s. He was a very dear friend. I know the sweet memories will keep him close to you forever.

I have been blessed to have Smitty and Susan for next door neighbors. Smitty and I had become "best buddies" over the years. He kept me entertained with his dry wit and bigger than life personality. I will miss him terribly! I pray that God will give Susan the needed strength to get through this sad time.

Susan we send our deepest condolences to you and your family. Smitty was a wonderful man that touched many people's lives.
The Montego staff and I wil never forget his jokes that kept us laughing and all the fun we had together. He truly made a difference in our lives and others and will not be forgotten.

Mrs. Susan,

My dad sent me Mr. Smitty’s obituary and I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about his passing. My family and I always had such a fun time coming to visit y’all at the beach. Some of my favorite memories as a child are coming down to the condos in Myrtle Beach and visiting y’all and playing lots of mini golf! Mr. Smitty will truly be missed and always remembered as a fun loving man! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Love to you and your family,

Jordan and the rest of the Myers family

So sorry to hear of this sad news. I went to high school with Smitty in Orangeburg. We had several classes together and became friends. He was always lots of fun. Enjoyed seeing him at some of our reunions.
My thoughts are with the family during this time.
