Your mother and I worked together for many, many years. She will be sorely missed by her friends, fellow teachers, and former students.
I was much saddened to learn this information. Please know that this brief note has much love and strength accompanying it. Know also that she taught you both well and loved you both beyond your imaginations. Hang on to that as each day arrives and passes. You both are in my thoughts and prayers.
