John F. Bulsza was born September 17, 1926 in Philadelphia PA, where he lived most of his life before moving to Bucks County Pa, just outside the city limits.
John was very athletic and enjoyed a variety of sports including tennis, softball and ping pong, but his favorite pastime was playing golf. He once won first place in a local golf tournament.
As a profession, John was trained as a tool and die maker. He could create almost anything mechanical just by looking at a blueprint. He once built a 2-bedroom home, by himself, working just on weekends. When he wasn't fixing a leaking pipe or remodeling a kitchen, he spent time enjoying his two children, Robert and Diane, engaging in a variety of play and sporting activities.
John was extremely devoted to his lovely wife Mary, celebrating over 60 years of marriage together.
John was also known for his musical talent, often entertaining his friends and family with his guitar, harmonica and singing. His other hobby was working on a miniature gauge model train platform.
John became a Christian as a resident of Myrtle Beach Manor about 10 years ago.
His favorite saying was "I'm not worrying about anything." I guess that helped him live a happy and successful life of 92 years.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Palms Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
