Please accept my sincere condolence. May you find comfort through the Word of God. “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces…” Isa 25:8. This promise will be accomplished by means of God’s Kingdom or government with His son Jesus Christ ruling as king (Dan 2:44).

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'd like to share some real hope with you. In Psalms 146:4 tells the condition of the dead. "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to the earth and that very day his thoughts perish." In Acts 24:15 the bible promises a resurrection of our loved ones back to earth. When Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, he brought him back to earth. That was a foregleam of the future. In Psalms 37:11+29 says man will live forever on the earth in peace. That was God's original purpose, for man to live forever in the garden of eden. God's purpose hasn't changed. In Isaiah 45:18 says God created the earth to be inhabited. That's why he gave his son to die for us, John 3:16, so we could have everlasting life on earth. In Revelation 21:4 says there'll be no more pain or death. Since there's no pain or death in heaven, those are future conditions on earth under God's kingdom arrangement.

Isla Mae was a true friend to everyone in my family. She saw us through good times and bad. I loved listening to her talk and to her laugh. I can hear her laughing now, even though I haven't seen her in years. She was a one in a million.

What an amazing human being, whose style and grace, was always present. She was walking just the other afternoon to the Spring Forest swimming pool, with a book in her hand. She said it was a lovely day, warm enough to sit and read. A gentle breeze was blowing, and she smiled. We will miss her deeply. Our deepest sympathies and prayers to her wonderful family. Rest now, Isla Mae.
