George H. McMillen, III

George H. McMillen III, 47, died June 19, 2020, with his family by his side in Myrtle Beach, SC. George was known for his ability to fix anything on a car, motorcycle, or boat.  He had a successful All Terrain Customs Business for over a decade.  He loved riding Motorcycles and was one of the best stunt riders around in his 20s and 30s.  George was also an avid fisherman and loved spending time out on the ocean every chance he got.  He graduated from Myrtle Beach Highs School in 1991.  George knows lots of people around the beach and was highly respected for his craft.  He was a matter of fact guy that had no issue with telling you like he saw it, whether you wanted to hear it or not.  The key to that is that you always knew where you stood with George.  What many people did not know about George is how family oriented he was.  He would do anything for family and showed so much love to his nephew and nieces.  He loved Cooking on the grill, smoking Boston Butts and had a special recipe that was unbelievably good.  Mr. McMillen is survived by his parents, George and Sanan, his sister, Tricia Degregorio and her spouse Bobby Degregorio and their 3 daughters, Shayla, Alyssa and Gabriella; his brother, Scott McMillen and his two Children Jackson and Ava Rose.  A visitation will be held Saturday June 27th from 2 pm to 4 pm at McMillan Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, SC. George was born October 19th, 1972, in Thailand to George and Sanan McMillen. His father was a career Air Force Supply Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and retired from Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in the early 90s.  His mother Sanan, had a career at AVX Corporation and is one of the best Thai food cooks in Myrtle Beach.  While Big George would take short tour assignments over his career the family was raised in Myrtle Beach from 1973 on.  McMillan-Small Funeral Home is honored to be serving the McMillen family.

My deepest condolences to the entire McMillen family. And to my dear Tricia, you were George’s rock , strength and comfort. You gave him hope and courage, while being his biggest advocate. I truly know he left this earth with an enormous feeling of being loved! I love you all!

It's time for your last ride, cuz. I will miss you. I regret the time not spent together as family. I hope the rest of us can change that, because we're not getting any younger and time is too short. You taught everyone to love life to the fullest, work hard, and give it everything you've got. You were dealt a really crappy hand in life but you persevered and showed us what real strength was. Give Pappy and Grandma Rosie a big hug from us down here. I'm sure Pappy has a perfect fixer upper ready for you two to work on together. Can't wait to see it!

Much love to my McMillen family. Wish with all my heart I was able to be there, but know that I am in spirit.

As with all great masters of talented craft, you too are timeless. Your song may be over, but Your melody lingers on.

It's been a very long time, but I'll always remember my love of "watching" skateboarding from George and Scott in what I remember to be their homemade skate ramp in the backyard.

I'm so very sorry for the pain you feel during this time. May you be comforted by all the amazing memories you have shared.

My heart goes out to you all!

Cousin Georgie, you will be greatly missed. Although we didn’t get to see each other much, I knew you had an energy that could not be matched and the strength of a warrior. Truly someone to be admired!
To our family, we are so sorry for your loss and you will be in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Love to you all.

You will always be in our hearts and we will nynever forget the gift you were given. It truly was remarkable the way you could do anything with vehicles. Although we lived so many miles apart and rarely got to see each other, we have some very fond memories. One thing that always stuck me is how shy you were. I understand that changed as you grew older. You were loved, you are loved and although we will miss having you here with us. I know you are with some very good company now. Love Aunt Polly and Uncle Harry.
