She only found out she had it a few months earlier, she was having pain. I was one of the first ones she told. Her friends in health care jumped in to high gear to help her and get her in to appointments sooner than she would have without their help. She did her best to survive. She was definitely a very fun loving person who didn't like being cooped up in the house. She loved life, always wanting to go out and do things like festivals and concerts, sitting on the beach or by the waterway...even alone she would do these things. She had just purchased a boat and was very excited about taking it out. I'm very sorry to hear she didn't make it. She also had great strength and over came other personal challenges...I really admired her for that. Why do those who love life so much sometimes leave so young?
Rest in peace Gail, I will never forget you.
My condolences to her family and all who knew and loved her.

Gail was ,in my opinion, a funny girl with deep determination. Her goals, she quietly shared to few, made each one a success. It hurts to think cancer could take her so quickly;I would how,why she did not act sooner, etc. but I do know she did it her way right to the end. Toots toot your horn, you have earned your place in eternity.

I'm so sorry to hear of the lost of Gail. What a great CRNA and great person. Even though I only was her business partner for a short time. She displayed honesty and was great to work with. I will miss her greatly.
