We will have his Celebration of Life on Monday 9th Of September 2019. We will be having the services at 6 pm, which will be officiated by Pastor James Larimore. We welcome anyone who would like to speak about Colby’s life. Colby was a very special child growing up. He always wanted to be early for everything. He was a precocious child who loved school, and he always excelled at everything he did. He adored his teachers and they him. Colby always wanted to write and had an affinity for the arts. He traveled with his family when he was young and studied throughout so many wonderful places. He finished high school at Carolina Forest High but went on to travel again as a young adult to continue his love for education. He enjoyed working with his mom and brother Chad at Starwood. He also loved working at Pier 14, where the owner Yvonne treated him like a second mom. Wherever he found himself, Colby always outshined a room. And of course there is no denying Colby’s absolute love for all the people around him. Of all the places in the world Colby visited, he loved none more other than Orlando, where his boy like heart felt free. His last title was Marketing Director for Skutchi designs. As much as Colby excelled at work, he never stopped caring for his family. He took such pride in building his brother Jovan’s business website. Colby carried The Lord in his heart and his treatment of others and his kindness and gentleness revealed Christ in him. You will be greatly missed and our love for you will live on in our memories of you. You had such a zeal for life and your heart was filled with the most genuine love. You were an amazing son, an unbelievable brother, and exceptional man. We will keep you alive in our hearts always and forever and until we meet again.

Colby was a one of a kind. He was passionate about everything he did which was infectious and motivated the people around him including myself. When I first met him I saw
such talent and drive. He brought the best out of people. He was a brilliant and creative young man. He also wasn’t shy to tell you that either (lol). I really miss seeing him in the morning peaking over his desk to say good morning. You will be missed by myself and the entire Skutchi Design family.

I loved working with Colby and Chad at Starwood. Colby always kept me laughing. He was such a kind soul. Very outgoing. My deepest sympathy goes out to his twin brother, Chad and the family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Colby. Until we meet again.

Skutchi cannot express how much Colby meant to us over the last year and a half. He always brought so much light into the lives of those around him. Colby was a team leader for the small, tight-knit family we have here. Without him, there will be a void we cannot fill. We will all miss him dearly, but we are grateful for the time that we did have with him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I met Colby through online job portal and started working for him about one and a half year ago. Since then, our relationship turned into friendship and I admired him for his kindness towards me. He always treated my like a brother and I will greatly miss him. I never met him in person and thats one thing I will always regret. Colby will always stay in my heart.
