Some years ago, I knew Betty when she worked in the flooring business. She knew her “stuff” about carpet, measurements, etc. Betty helped me tremendously when I carpeted my house. I talked to her often back then. You know, there are things that happen that no one can explain. For instance, a few days ago, even though I had not been in contact with her in years, I thought of her and wondered if she was still in Murrells Inlet. I now live in NC, so I have lost touch with a lot of SC friends. One more thing about Betty and Mr. McClamrock, he was the Captain of my employer’s yacht back then and I spoke to him and Betty often. May she Rest In Peace and you can be assured that her life was one that was well lived!
