Victor Foster Cashwell

Victor Foster Cashwell, aged eighty-two years passed away Friday March 8, 2024 at home and in the company of loved ones.

Victor was born January 5, 1942 to William Gaston and Almeta Johnson Cashwell of Cumberland County, NC. He is predeceased by his brothers Bill and Troy Cashwell, as well as his wife of thirty-four years Linda Maske Cashwell.        

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from UNC, Victor worked for the State of North Carolina's Vocational Rehabilitation Program before moving to the North Myrtle Beach area and starting a property management and maintenance business of uncommon longevity.

He is survived by his sons; Jonathan David and Joel Foster Cashwell; his daughters-in-law Nichole Julia and Samantha Lynne Cashwell; and his grandchildren Ellanore Anne, Andrew Cooper, Gabriel Foster, and Callan Pierce Cashwell. We have lost a pillar, a patriarch, a counselor, and a friend. Victor's knowledge, patience, self-sacrificing generosity, and ability to genuinely listen have left so many lives imprinted. In that there is victory. We love and will miss you Dad.

Funeral Services will be 1pm Friday, March 15, 2024 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Freeman presiding. The burial will follow the service at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
