Francis Elizabeth Polic

Francis Elizabeth Polic, 79, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on February 29, 2024. She was born on January 4, 1945, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

Francis was a registered nurse and a graduate of The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and Erlanger School of Nursing. She was known for her caring and loving nature, being a devoted mother, and a friend to all.

She is survived by her husband, Petar Polic; sister, Jessie Henderson; sister-in-law, Helly Polich; children, Kristi Williams and Mark Polic; and grandchildren, Seth Polic, Zachary Williams, and Danica Williams. Francis was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Sensboy Henderson and John Rufus Henderson.

In her free time, Francis enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and artistic pursuits. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM-2:30 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, 910 67th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, SC, where a celebration of life will be held. 

McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, SC, is assisting the family with the arrangements. 

Francis will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
