Connie Moody Murrell

Connie Moody Murrell, 83, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. 

She was the daughter of Marvin Fletcher Moody and Alice Pearle Moulds Moody from Dillon, SC. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Manley Eugene Murrell in 2009, her daughter, Dawn Rene Ard in 2017, her siblings, George Burgess Moody of Dillon, SC, Julian Fletcher Moody of Florida, and June Jernigan Cabiness of Myrtle Beach, SC. 

Her three children survive her, Alvin Gage of Arizona, Bonnie Johnson Pate of Myrtle Beach, SC, and James Lester Johnson of Myrtle Beach.

Connie graduated from Dillon High School in 1959. She was a self-employed Medical Transcriptionist, as well as employed by Burroughs and Chapin Entertainment Group. 

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 25th, 2024, at Hillcrest Cemetery at 11:30 am.  The family requests everyone to sign the online McMillan-Small Funeral Home guest book on the tribute wall.
